I've had one go-to chocolate chip cookie recipe forever ... I think it came from the newspaper way back in middle school. It's very good, but does need to be refrigerated overnight for best results. I also have a quickie recipe - the same one that I use for cookie cakes, which can go into the oven right after mixing, and still tastes pretty darn good. I've been going to the "B" recipe more often lately, which made me wonder .... is the "A" recipe worth the extra planning? Let's put the recipes to the test!
Results: the "A" cookies won the taste test, 7-0. (Detail that gave them the edge: more butter!) Everyone was very happy to help me out.
