Potty Charts

We've started potty charting over here. It's week two, and one chart is already full, though we are still nowhere near ready for underpants. Hopefully Clark will have the hang of things quickly while he's still excited about stickers (like big sis) before we have to add a toy bribe to step up the incentive (like big bro.) This is the chart that all three kids have used.

  1. Perfect timing, I'm about to start training with my son. Do you use them as an incentive past the stickers? Like once it's full do they get a reward? Just curious about everyone's training ideas!
    Thanks for posting these!

  2. The stickers were enough for my daughter ... she was two weeks from dipes to undies. For my middle son, we had to kick it up a bit. I added a star to every 4th square, and when he reached a star, he got a little dollar store toy. He quickly figured out he could do two drops four times in a row and get a prize right away, which made me crazy at first, but then realized he's actually using the toilet, so I should just relax. And I did, and he did, and everyone was happy. Once we started the toy system (after a year of are we or aren't we with the potty), we were three days to underpants.

  3. Hi, I just came across these as I was searching on google images. Thank you! They are perfect for my boy/girl twins. The pictures even kind of look like them. My kids were thrilled this morning when I showed them.

  5. I did a Google image search for potty charts. Of all the charts-- Disney princesses, trains, rainbows-- she insists yours is the best and the only one she will use. (She's 3 1/2 and actually potty trained, but we're having some issues I'm hoping going back to the chart will resolve.) So good job on this chart!

  6. These are great. I've traced the picture of the girl for my daughter who is toilet training at the moment. You're very talented!

  7. This one worked great for our little boy... love that it has a picture of a kid on the potty so that he knows what the point is! He's 2 1/2 and it took no time at all... I actually just posted the link to your blog on mine for this! Thank you!
